Interstate certification
Taking your SDB partner across state lines
PA NextGen is DBE/ACDBE certified through the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program, our home state, or jurisdiction of original certification (JOC)
. Under 49 CFR 26.85, when a certified DBE applies to another state’s UCP, the new UCP must accept the DBE’s certification from its jurisdiction of original certification
. That UCP confirms within 10 business days, then must certify the DBE immediately without undergoing further procedures
.
That makes PA NextGen eligible to apply in every UCP jurisdiction USDOT lists. Tell us where your project is, and we’ll start that state’s application.
